Books
Because books are why you are really here, right? Well I've got plenty of the book thingies for you to read. I only write cozy mystery books, so you won't find any swearing, on-screen violence, sex, or upsetting things like that between my covers. What you will find are are all my favourite cozy 'hygge' things, like cats, coffee, cake, and candles. Maybe some knitting, crafting, flower arranging, baking, and vacationing - you get my drift. I'm a British author so I do use British spelling and most of my characters and settings are British, so don't go complaining about spelling mistakes just because I'm writing in British English, it's what the Queen uses and no-one ever tells her she's doing it all wrong.
But What if I don't Want to Pay For Your Books? Can't I Just Get a Copy for Free?
OK, so I know that money can be tight, believe me I've been there and done that, and I was homeless when I wrote my first book, but if you want me to keep writing new books for you, and paying Donna the cover designer, Jane the editor, Amy my author productivity coach, and yes better not forget the tax man or Heather my accountant either, and paying the cats in meals, then we have to strike some kind of deal here, so here it is. I want you to get my books for the lowest price possible, whilst still maintaining a high standard of publishing and hunting down all those pesky typos and things from my first drafts. That's why I set up an account on Patreon, so that my biggest fans could get all of my books and audiobooks for free before anyone else, in the format of their choosing, and with their names in the dedication page of my books, and a say on which book to write next and what title to give each story. It costs $1 a month to be a patron, which also supports my weekly Free Book Friday collection, and by way of a thank you, patrons get my books before anyone else - perfect for folks who don't like to use Amazon or who have Nook or other reading devices.
I also make my books available through Amazon's Kindle Unlimited subscription service, which you can try out here for free for a month, and instead of paying £4.99 for my book, a subscription costs £7.99 per month for which you get to read as many books as you could possibly want from all different authors and genres. Better still, try and find some of the extra special signup deals around Amazon Prime Day and Black Friday because that way you'll save even more money. Plus, once you own a book on Kindle, you get discount on the audiobook version too, so you can use Whispersync and listen on your Alexa device, or have your Kindle read your book to you. Don't have a Kindle reader? You don't need one, just download the Kindle app for your phone or computer for free here. Thinking of splashing out on a Kindle e-reader? I treated myself to the Kindle Fire for my birthday and I love it. I got it for around $20 during Black Friday a few years ago and I still use it all the time, especially when I'm doing a final proofread before my books go live on Amazon. Plus I use it when I'm on set filming as I watch movies and check reader comments on Facebook with it.

Do My Page Reads Really Save Sharks?
Totally! Weird I know. Whenever you read my books on Kindle Unlimited, (or shop for anything on Amazon using Amazon Smile UK), Amazon pays me (as the author) a royalty for each page read and I donate a percentage of this directly to my environmental and STEM education charity 'Oceans Project' which I started with a group of refugee and displaced children in the former Soviet Republic of Georgia back in 2010. The charity is today UK registered, and uses funds generated from page reads and donations from Amazon's Smile programme to send disadvantaged young people aged 5-25 (and teachers and in future my readers and patrons) from all over the world on conservation expeditions through US based non-profit Earthwatch. One of those expeditions is Shark Conservation in Belize, but there are loads of other expeditions, mostly with an ocean or climate change focus. Now you really can save the planet just by reading my books!!
