Before Christmas I posted a message on our Cozy Mystery Book Explorer group on Facebook, asking you guys if there was anything you would like to see more (or less) of in the New Year. I had a lot of wonderful feedback (thank you so much for that), and two suggestions - cozy mystery book reviews, and giveaways.
So here we are, a little something that I hope will meet both of those suggestions.....a giveaway where the winner each month will be chosen at random. All you have to do to enter, is to leave a little review or recommendation for a cozy mystery book that you've read and enjoyed and think that others might like to read too. You can leave your review in the comments section of this page, or on the giveaway post on Facebook or Instagram. This is something I plan to run every month, and you have the whole of the month to give you time to leave your review. The winner will be announced on the last Friday of each month. The prize will be a book box containing cozy mystery themed items, connected to that month's theme. So for January's giveaway book box, the theme of the box will be paranormal cozies. (Your review can be any theme of book, but it must be a cozy mystery). I hope that you will have a lot of fun with this giveaway and get to pick up some great swag and personal items from authors in the process.

Vlad-Handing is book 5 in the Silver Hills Cozy Mystery series by Sam Cheever. It is set in a singles/retirement residency (think 55 and older) filled with an eccentric cast of characters. This time around, Flo and Agnes find themselves trying to prove that manager Vlad Newsome, who many consider a reprehensible creature of the night, is innocent of murder. The only problem is that these ladies are a not 100% sure that Vlad isn’t the murderer.
