Cozy Mystery Christmas List Ideas
  | I have to confess that I've already treated myself to one of these as an early Christmas present! Mainly because there is a special reduced price right now and I need some help with my productivity whilst working from home, so I got one for £34.99 instead of £49.99. I've had it for two days and it is already a game changer. I'm especially enjoying one of the Blueprint skills called 'get me up.' Each morning at 5am Alexa wakes me up to the sound of bird song, and if I'm not up, Alexa keeps arguing with me until I do get up, which it turns out is a great way to start the day off laughing as Alexa comes up with some brilliant comebacks each time I tell her I'm not getting out of bed. It's also brilliant for listening to music (you can create free playlists on Amazon Music if you have a Prime subscription too, which I'm really enjoying), audiobooks, reading your Kindle books to you, and for scheduling all sorts of things like turning lights on and off at set times. I can't wait to play around with it a bit more, and my next addition is one of the buttons, which I plan to use so that Isla my dog can tap it to let me know when she needs to go outside for a pee. |
