Autumn is definitely settling in here in the Lake District and it feels quintessentially British to see so many ancient oak trees with their new acorns appearing. Today's colouring page is inspired by acorns and oak trees and all of the stories that the trees could tell if only they could speak. The knight resting against the tree trunk after a hard day on horseback, or the young lovers hiding beneath the leaves for fear of getting seen, or the local girl walking her dog and looking at the colourful leaves as they take on their Autumnal colours. It won't be too long before the trees are naked again and the branches covered in snow.
Feel free to download this page and to let me know how you get on. Hopefully this page will make it into the Rydal Water colouring book and I would especially love to get some beta testers to have a go at colouring the raw pictures, and then to be advanced reviewers of the finished colouring book. If you would like a free copy of the book as an advanced reviewer, drop me a line: email@example.com
